Been trying to decide which of my many UFOs to tackle. I have been working on the quilt I started when Philip was in Palliative Care but I just can't seem to get into it (probably because it will be 12 months this weekend and I am trying to ignore it). I have so many other ones to start but can't seem to make up my mind which one to pull from the pile.

I have finished the embroidery (started over 1 year ago) on a lovely supper cloth so all it needs is squaring up and a hem.

I have looked at the designs that I printed out (almost 2 years ago) for another cloth with the blue willow pattern design. I had thought to make a large table cloth and have the material all ready and marked with centre lines etc.

I also have the designs edited and printed out for the throw that you keep at the end of your bed (who knows what it is called....lol). It is covered in embroidered poppies and the idea is to join the poppy blocks with some bold sashing. Now I have the designs ready to sew, the main fabric and all the cottons ready but never got the sashing fabric. Maybe I could take a trip to the local store but I have a feeling that would be a temptation.

I need to finish the Christening gown but am waiting for the weather to cool down a little. The gown is made from swiss batiste and so is very fine; also am worried my sweaty hands would show on it. Of course, the main reason is I am not and never have been a seamstress so it is taking me way out of my comfort zone to make it. I have all the panels of embroidery finished on it.

I also thought of using all those embroideries from the Elizabethan Panels as one of end of bed thingies. I think I have enough small panels to make up for each side of the main central one.

I have some fabric I could use for sashing and binding so would keep me from temptation's door (ie my local fabric shop) and it would look nice....lol.

So as you can see I am prevaricating my little heart off ...rotfl. But don't worry I promise I will start one of those little suckers lurking in my cupboard and finish it off soon!!
