Tungurahua volcano eruptions: 1534, 1557, 1640(?), 1641, 1644(?), 1646(?), 1757(?), 1773, 1776, 1777(?), 1781(?), 1857, 1885(?), 1886-88, 1900(?), 1916-25, 1944, 2000- (ongoing Tungurahua is one of the most active volcanoes in Ecuador, and is located about 140 km south of the capital city of Quito. Tungurahua is a steep-sided stratovolcano that towers 3 km above its northern base. Tungurahua volcano has a complex historical record which includes sudden, violent eruptions. The volcano has a diameter of 14 km.
Recent Activity Volcanic Eruption in Tungurahua, Ecuador has thrown pyroclastic boulders up to a mile from the crater. Tungurahua is one of South America's most active volcanoes. Since 2000, a new lava dome has been growing in its summit crater. Tungurahua's activity has been characterized by frequent powerful ash explosions, producing ash plumes of several kilometers height as well as dangerous pyroclastic flows. Mount Gamalama in Indonesia's North Maluku province (Island of Ternate) erupted releasing volcanic ashes. However there is no any report of damage or losses by this disaster. Inhabitants seems to have little relief now.

Mexico is experiencing worst drought in last 70 years.Different Mexican states Sonora,Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Guanajuato and Zacatecas are badly affectedby this drought.
